| Electrolysis is the removal of each individual hair.
Electrolysis requires a series of treatments over a period of time. The
process is done usually once a week until the area is cleared. After
this, the hairs that are coming in on a different growth cycle are
treated. A tiny probe is inserted in the hair follicle. Heat that
travels down the probe destroys the hair root at the bottom of the
follicle. The loosened hair is then removed by tweezers. Each hair is
treated individually. Most clients find the treatment only mildly
uncomfortable
